Speed reading

Yesterday i met new people and gained new experience. which is speed reading. that was very interesting. i never thought i could read that fast. i read about 500 words in one minute. that was hilarious. Speed reading teacher taught us one exercise and i have done it many times when i got home. but i couldn't read more than 500 words in one minute. but I'm sure I'll do better next time. First i couldn't understand a single word when read that fast. After some practice i started to understand some of it. But i think this always happens to people who is not native speaker. our teacher decreased the time of our reading by 2 seconds at the time. Least time was 2 seconds and it was really fast. Sometimes even i couldn't turn the page in that short time. Still it was fun. I'm sure this speed reading practice will help me to be a good reader.
